Per te, amore…

Io non so parlar d'amore
l'emozione non ha voce
E mi manca un po il respire
Se ci sei c'e troppa luce

La mia anima si spande
Come musica d'estate
Poi la voglia sai mi prende
E mi accende con i baci tuoi

Io con te saro sincero
Restero quel che sono
Disonesto mai lo giuro
Ma se tradisci non perdono

Ti saro per sempre amico
Pur geloso come sai
Io lo so mi contraddico
Ma preziosa sei tu per me…

The song is beautiful, Natalie, the voice .... well ....

Do European women like the sound of a raspy-voiced singer? When I think about it, it seems to be fashionable there. This is something I have encountered a few times in recent weeks.

By coincidence, I just happened to be complaining about having a "summer cold" myself and my own voice being raspy and not wishing to speak on the telephone because it was less than my normally resonant voice. I prefer the melodious voice, with a smooth, even, constant flow, especially on songs such as this.

Hello dear Natalie, your today's post sounds like a greatest music to me, thank you very much! It reminds me also, that I'm going to start Italian lessons this year, and how much I can't wait it. His voice is beautiful. Italian is definitely the language of my soul. Thank you again! All the best to you :-)

I am happy we have similar taste in music, kochana!!
I started my Italian lessons a while ago, and don't see any improvement!!

The song is beautiful indeed, Fram.
Maybe you are wrong altogether about what kind of voices women do prefer!?!?!?
Melodious/smooth voices for women, raspy-coarse(y) voices for men. Or no???
“Constant flow” is boring… Puts one to sleep…

Yes, Dora, the poem is beautiful and Edgar Allan Poe is one of my favorite poets….
I don’t know if you will come back for my answer, here it is:

“Be always truthful to your heart,
Don’t bend heart’s ways, be not what you are not…
Heart’s beauty shall be praised,
Not wicked minds wickedest games….”

Unexpectedly, a new poem is born. Thank you!
