Happy Spring To All! Happy Travel to Some!

"There are souls, in these noise-tired times, that turn aside into unfrequented lanes, where the deep woods have harbored the fragrances of many a blossoming season. Here the light, filtering through perfect forms, arranges itself in lovely patterns for those who perceive beauty..."
Roy J. Cook

Anna Akhmatova:

"There are the words that couldn’t be twice said,
He, who said once, spent out all his senses.
Only two things have never their end –
The heavens’ blue and the Creator’s mercy."

Natalie ....

I think you have picked a pair of perfect thoughts for Spring, or for any season, for that matter.

I really enjoyed them. Thank you.

Your taste in poetic words is excellent, just as is your own poetry.

Glad you liked them, Mr. Cuban,

Here’s windy-rainy-thunderstormy, nevertheless everything is blooming, everything is beautiful! Happy Spring!

Natalie ....

That was one of the sweetest comments you have written to me. I feel privileged to have been among those who communicate with you here.

For my part, I think I am destined to be Percival, and judged unworthy of my particular holy grail, should I actually stumble across it.

I will be around at least until early July before I make a jump, and I assume you will be back "home" in the U.S. before then. By the way, I finally noticed your comment from the 17th on one of my canoe tales.

Stay sweet. We, who are brooding poets, are like everyone else in one sense. We need to smile more often because we, more than most, know that being alive is being on a holiday.

“being alive is being on a holiday….” – so true… I often remind myself how fortunate I am to walk this Earth, how privileged I am to make some people smile… and when they do smile and happy, I cry…
Thank you, Fram

Why is it that I can't access your blog from mine one and yet I can do it from 'musings'? Strange :-(

Greetings from London.
